History:
Tranquil music can be playing here, Osmund was born as normally as any child could be, in an open field with a farm house not that far away. The mother was, well not all that much of a nice person, neither the father. So wiping off the baby as much as possible the father used a switchblade to cut the cord and a clothespin to clamp it. The father turned and moved to that farmhouse that was decorated for what looked like a party, a Birthday party that is, how fitting. The father began working his charm in that sense, and after alot of everything just feeling wrong the couple in the farmhouse agreed to buy the baby right there from the scary man. The man took the cash, $4,977.32, it's all the money the couple had in a safe and from their wallets. The next day the police investigated from the couple calling them immediately that night. The investigation turned up nothing, however they did keep the traces of birth that were found there. Since this was a small town, the couple from the farmhouse, Richard and Janis Effrans, were granted full-custody of the baby. This was the greatest blessing, for Janis... was unable to carry a child to fullterm and viewed this as the greatest birthday gift ever. The couple rejoiced, however kept the arrangements of aquiring the little boy a secret. The couple named the baby after Richard's father... Osmund. So Osmund Horus Effrans began his quaint, loving life. At the age of 13, the Effrans sat down with Osmund and revealed the secret to him. First-off Ozmund had so many questions and over the span of three weeks the Effrans tried their best to answer them, but to no avail. Throughout the summer Osmund worked, he did his chores in the morning then went walking through their town, that being Eudora, Kansas. Osmund took as many jobs as he could get, sweeping porches and walkways, taking out garbage, even got to work on a couple of other farms in the area to make as much money as he could. The fall came, so Osmund took all of his savings and went... to the police station. There Osmund would plea and beg the Sherrif to re-open the investigation and ultimately tell Osmund... who his true parents were. The Sherrif was heartbroken in telling Osmund he did not have enough money for that, nor enough reason for them to reopen the case, however would put it to a vote at the next town meeting. There, the vote was yes across the board, it seemed that while Osmund was making money for this, he was also building a very good reputation for himself, being so kind and generous to help out. So the investigation went through and his parents were found, both serving time in Prison. Over the next seven years Osmund would make only four trips there, two per biological parent, and to this day he saw that as his greatest regret. At the age of 20, Osmund is loving his life, that experience made him appreciate Richard and Janis all the more, to which without hesitation he still calls them Dad and Mom. Getting the opportunity to go live with his cousin in Kansas City, Osmund piled all of his things into his rebuilt 1988 Camaro, the one he and his father, Richard, built from the shell up. It was not a bittersweet departure, for he was only under an hour away from his home, so he made plans to go back every Sunday. At the age of 22, Osmund works nights at The Nelson-Atkins Art Gallery and Museum as a nightwatchman. He has been working there for two years now and can pick and choose his own hours, naturally being a nightowl, plus seeing the other guards with families of their own, Osmund, or rather as he's called now, Oz did not hesitate to take the graveyard shift. Oz still enjoys his life, and feels he is completely in the place he needs to be right now.
