Alright, now with my little break from KCSins the room I know it make take away from a few things in my abilities, however my duty as your President, is to make sure the Core Rules are being upheld.
Now there has been some controversy over the rules, some stating they did not know, or did not read them. That to be honest is a bit disrespectful, if you wish a room to where you can come in and do whatever you please, whenever you please and not take consideration to the other players in the room, then perhaps we can suggest someplace else for you, as those kinds of typists are not welcomed here.
I can be very understanding, some miss the rules when they are on the Homepage of our WebSite and on the Entrance Page to the room, not hard to miss, but some people just come into the room and take no regards to the rules... now that is where I step in.

The Rules:
Hello and welcome to Kansas City Sins. We're glad that you're wanting to come roleplay here and let us welcome you to our room. There are just a few things that need to be done before you can officially play in KCS.
1. Look over the website and learn about Kansas City Sins. If you haven't read the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter books by Laurel K. Hamilton it would be a good idea to speak with someone who has so that you can get an idea about the room. Reading the books is NOT a requirement of roleplaying here but it will help when things get confusing. And believe me, it WILL get confusing.
2. Make sure you're up to date on the message board and that you have read all the important threads. We may post something vitally important to the roleplay and if you do not read the message board regularly, you'll have no idea what is going on. It is important that you always read the announcements (Not necessarily under the announcements section but there are usually going to be a few posts under other forums by that particular section admin or by the moderators.) Please keep up to date on the message board.
3. If you're not sure what kind of character you want to start, you might talk to someone in the room and find out what all is being played or you can look over the website and see what most appeals to you as a typist. There are always going to be people willing to help you out if it's needed. KCS is a good room and there are a lot of great people roleplaying here. Take the time to get to know them and you won't regret it.
4. Check out the Celebrity Personas Used list on the message board. It's VERY IMPORTANT that you do, so that you will know which celebrities are being used in the room. A lot have been taken but there are a zillion more out there that are not being used. I doubt we'll ever have a shortage of celebrities and if you look long enough, you'll find one that fits your character perfectly. If you need help finding someone to use, again, ask someone in the room and I'm sure they'd be glad to help. If you need someone to make an avatar for you there are people in the room that are excellent at creating beautiful avatars for characters in KCS. Just go into the room and ask if there is someone that can help you (Or post a thread on the board asking for help) and I'm sure someone will volunteer.
5. This is an ADULT roleplay room. An adult qualifies as someone either 18 years of age or above. If you are not an adult then don't waste your time coming here. There WILL be sexual content in the room. Most typists wouldn't have a problem with a minor in the room, however, we must abide by site rules and site rules state that no one under 18 can chat at Sizzling Chat because of adult content. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. IF we find out that you are under 18 and roleplaying in KCS, you will be removed from the room.
6. Kansas City Sins and roleplay in general is supposed to be a time when the typist can sit back and enjoy their time on the computer. Please do not bring any out of character crap into the roleplay, and if something doesn't go your way in roleplay, please do not drag it out of character. IC is meant to stay IC and OOC is meant to stay OOC. It's less stressful on everyone that way. If you cannot separate one from the other, then you have no business even roleplaying.
7. NO GOD MODING. This means that you cannot create an all powerful character and excpect to be able to come in and take over everything and kill whomever you want. Our room does NOT work that way. It is a NO KILL ZONE (There are some exceptions to this rule.) But do not expect to come in as a newbie and automatically be able to kill whomever you want, especially if it's an already established character. Get a little time in the room under your belt and then we'll see.
8. Again, KCS is supposed to be a fun roleplay room. If you have a problem with a typist, do not whine and moan about it to other people. You've got a problem, take it to the person you have a problem with and resolve it. If it disturbs the roleplay, we the moderators WILL resolve it for you. We're not here to hold your hands and pat you on the head. We're here to see to the smooth running of the room and to make sure everyone follows the rules as written. We are NOT here to listen to your complaints about other typists unless it is something that will affect the room as a whole. If you dislike the way they play their character, then that is your problem. We do not dictate to anyone how their character should be played, and we won't start now just because one typist doesn't like it. People put a lot of time and effort into their character and into developing that character to the fullest of their potential so if you've got a problem, get over it.
